So heres the first half of August for Streator .. we'll hit 90 *twice*..the rest are highs in the low 80s/high 70s with cool evenings and beautiful raindrops and breezes.

I walked past THREE different bands warming up downtown last Saturday... and found a couple of other gems as well. Definitely need to find out who painted the back door of their business as a TARDIS... and definitely want to say thank you to the Streator Wall Dogs.. this town is covered in beautiful murals and art work.

You Just Missed it! Compare this to what $75k will get you in Austin (That's the sale price, not the down payment btw). Almost 3000 square feet of sturdy brick, right on the river, next to a community center and a park and a short stroll to a shopping center. So whats YOUR governor been up to this week? All the news out of the statehouse or governors office here is .. calming. Like 'oh, adults at work doing the business of government' . Living in Texas each days news from the Lege and Abbot and Company was like "Damage Report?" and constant trauma therefrom.
