TRAIN SERVICE BETWEEN NEW YORK & SCRANTON
If you live in the Poconos, then you know it’s been a long time joke about the trains coming to the Pocono’s. Believe it or not, that conversation is center stage again and this time Amtrak is involved.
Amtrak and the Pennsylvania Northeast Regional Railroad Authority have plans to restore passenger rail service between New York City and Scranton, with the proposed new Amtrak corridor providing easy access to the Poconos for train travelers. Please show your support of the initiative by signing the petition from the Scranton Rail Restoration Coalition.
