Thank you so much to the PMAR members, staff, and families who came out to create a banner for our Kindness Cupboard, a Blessing Box located just outside of our office on Main Street! Our DEI Committee led the efforts to bring Monroe County it's first ever Blessing Box. It's a free non-perishable food box where you give what you can or take what you need - no questions asked.

There's just one week left to apply for a storm damage relief grant of up to $1,000. Thank you to the Monroe County Office of Emergency Management-Monroe County, PA and everyone in the community who has helped us connect with eligible homeowners. If you own a primary residence in Monroe County that was damaged by July's severe storms, you may be eligible.

It's the last week to apply for storm damage relief funds. Grants of up to $1,000 per household are available. The application link is in the comments.

Here are the qualifications you need to apply.
- Own your primary residence in Monroe County, PA
- Have suffered storm damage to that primary residence between July 3 and July 6, 2026
- Be able to provide documentation of home ownership and storm damage

You have until September 16 or until funds are exhausted to submit your application us.
