Heading to bed but know that, other than the earlier tornadoes which caused significant damage to some local areas, we were very blessed to escape a direct impact from Milton who veered north and thankfully weakened significantly. I'm still waiting to hear from my dad in Sarasota but have heard from others who own in Myakka Valley Ranches and it seems they were also spared the worst. We will regroup tomorrow and do what Martin County does best which is pulling together for one another!

In 2001, I was a baby lawyer in town and Judge Roby (Chief Judge at the time) talked about Inns of Court at a Martin County Bar Luncheon. I had been a member in law school and brazenly called him immediately excited about the possibility of setting one up in Martin County. He was thrilled about my phone call but said I need a partner (Master) from your firm to help get it started. Next thing I know Richard Levenstein (my boss at the time), Judge Roby and I were setting up our Inns of Court. Can't believe it's already been 20 years since we met the membership requirements to form the Justice Major B. Harding Inns of Court!
