Real talk — Realtor perspective, but I’m genuinely asking for general knowledge. 👀🏡
I’d love to hear from people who have bought or sold a home — especially those who have had a less-than-great experience with a Realtor.
What is it about working with Realtors that you don’t like?
And something I’ve been especially curious about… why do some buyers prefer to work only with the listing agent instead of having their own buyer’s agent?
I also see situations where a Realtor spends hours touring homes with a buyer, answering questions, researching properties, coordinating showings, negotiating, and doing everything the client asks… only to be ghosted afterward. 😬
No judgment here — I genuinely want to understand the why behind it.
From a consumer’s perspective:
🏡 What would make you NOT want to work with a Realtor?
🏡 What behaviors or qualities turn you off?
🏡 What makes you trust one Realtor over another?
🏡 If you’ve ever stopped working with a Realtor, what was the reason?
🏡 And for those who prefer using the listing agent — what makes that option more appealing to you?
I’m asking because I want to be better. ❤️
Real estate is a people business, and I’d much rather hear honest feedback from the people I serve than assume I know what buyers and sellers want.
So… Realtors, consumers, buyers, sellers — let’s hear it. 👇
And please be honest. I promise I’m here to listen, not argue. 😊
