Happy birthday, my beloved, dear, dear son Andy. I added techno music that you loved…
This coming September 29th will mark the six-year anniversary of your departure, and although I’ve been learning to live with this immense and deep hole in my heart, I still find it hard to believe you are not physically with us. However, you are with me every single day, and I welcome the memories of you that constantly surface.
On a day like today, I am remembering the very beginning when I first found out I was pregnant with you. I felt such immense joy. I took my pregnancy so seriously, maintaining a healthy diet and visiting a holistic center called Natale three times a week. Joining a group of other expectant mothers there was wonderful. Sharing our exercises, breathing techniques, and group therapy sessions on Fridays put me at ease, as I realized we all shared the same fears and excitement. When we got closer to our due dates, the fathers joined us for Lamaze classes; it was truly an amazing time. Then, a bit earlier than expected, you arrived, and your dad and I were so,so immensely happy. I will save that story for another time.
Tomorrow will be Father’s Day and is bittersweet for me because although I’m expecting the arrival of your beautiful daughter, Simona, and her mom Agostina, who are coming to visit soon from Argentina, it saddens me you will not be there to celebrate your day with her tomorrow. You were such an awesome, loving father to her, but I am looking forward and grateful to have them both with me for a couple of weeks. As always, I know you will be there with us in our hearts.
I will never stop missing you, my beloved, beautiful, dear, dear son. Hugs and kisses to you in heaven my love.💜💜💜💜💜💜 ’llforeverloveyou
