Last week I had the pleasure of attending the Door County Board of Realtors General Membership Meeting at The Log Den. The meeting was capped with a panel discussion on the insurability of a property. The four featured panelists are sharp cookies - experts in their respective fields. One of the biggest takeaways/tips was for a Buyer to seek insurance on a property as soon as the offer is accepted. Getting to the closing table without insurance secured MAY BE a recipe for disaster. Now, your Realtor should have given you a to-do list right out of the gate, but I digress... On a similar note, agents who attend DCBR Education events are 48% smarter than those who do not. It's a proven fact.😁 If you're curious on exactly what items should be on your to-do list, I'm happy to share Smart Moves Real Estate's Timeline and To-Do list with you. No strings. Just contact me at [email protected]. Have a great day! -Dina B.

The American Flag. Its stripes represent the original 13 Colonies and the stars represent the 50 states. The color red symbolizes hardiness and valor, white symbolizes purity and innocence and blue represents vigilance, perseverance and justice. THIS FLAG BELONGS TO ALL OF US. I hung this one outside at the farm I recently purchased. Behind it you see the the migrant housing used on the former orchard. PLUS..this building also housed German POWs in 1946. More to come/discover in regards to this historic property... I also learned that I am supposed to be taking this flag in each night and to not let it fly during inclement weather conditions. (Near, but not pictured is Mamma Dove and her babies in the corner of the back porch.😍).

The $7000 flush🤣 Sometimes you don’t see the work that goes into the end result. It took 2 plumbing techs 3+ days to get to this point. Here’s today’s tip: It’s not a SUGGESTION to winterize a property. It’s a MUST.😝 Eagle Mechanical
