Normally I’m cheering on my clients… but this time the Western Branch cheerleaders were trying to teach me how to do it properly. 😂📣

They were very patient. I was… enthusiastic.

With Homecoming tomorrow night, this felt like the perfect time to share one more fun moment with the team.

I’ve really enjoyed getting to know these students this season and supporting a group that brings so much energy to Western Branch.

Twenty-five years.

I was a senior in high school on September 11, 2001, and I can still remember that day with a clarity that seems impossible after so much time.

Years later, standing at the World Trade Center before running the New York City Marathon, I found myself looking up at a skyline that had been forever changed — but was still standing tall.

Maybe that’s what stays with me most 25 years later. September 11 showed us how quickly an ordinary day can become a dividing line between before and after. But the years since have also shown us something about resilience — about rebuilding, remembering, and continuing forward without leaving behind the people who were lost.

Today, I’m remembering the 2,977 lives taken, the families whose lives changed forever, and the first responders, service members and countless others whose lives were shaped by what happened that day.

Twenty-five years later, we remember. And we keep going. 🇺🇸

I’m working with several buyers right now who haven’t found the right home — and I’m hoping someone here might know where it is.

Here’s what they’re looking for:

1️⃣ Chesapeake or Suffolk — Horse property with acreage and a barn. The home must have a first-floor bedroom. Up to $1.2M.

2️⃣ Chesapeake, Suffolk or Carrollton — Ranch-style home with 2000sqft & under $500,000. Updated is preferred, but they’ll consider the right home if it needs some cosmetic work.

3️⃣ Norfolk — A home with character! My buyers are completely comfortable taking on updates themselves, or would love something that has already been thoughtfully renovated while preserving the home’s original charm. They’re specifically trying to avoid the typical “flip” look.

If you own something that sounds like one of these — even if you haven’t seriously considered selling yet — I’d love to talk.
