🛑 STOP — I need your help!

I’m working with several buyers right now who haven’t found the right home — and I’m hoping someone here might know where it is.

Here’s what they’re looking for:

1️⃣ Chesapeake or Suffolk — Horse property with acreage and a barn. The home must have a first-floor bedroom. Up to $1.2M.

2️⃣ Chesapeake, Suffolk or Carrollton — Ranch-style home with 2000sqft & under $500,000. Updated is preferred, but they’ll consider the right home if it needs some cosmetic work.

3️⃣ Norfolk — A home with character! My buyers are completely comfortable taking on updates themselves, or would love something that has already been thoughtfully renovated while preserving the home’s original charm. They’re specifically trying to avoid the typical “flip” look.

Eight weeks, countless houses, a few open houses, plenty of videos… and apparently a few things Neida was waiting until the exit interview to tell me. 😂

As students across Hampton Roads head back to school today, Neida is starting her senior year at Churchland High School — which makes today the perfect day to officially wrap up her summer internship with me.

Through Portsmouth Public Schools’ internship program, she got a behind-the-scenes look at what a career in real estate actually involves — from marketing and listing prep to client meetings, property tours, open houses and, yes, plenty of social media.

I hope she learned a lot this summer. I know I did. It was a privilege getting to be a small part of her journey, and I can’t wait to see what comes next for her.

But first… the exit interview. 🎬😂

Another day interning with Ryan… 😂

Neida’s hands were already full after the open house, and I told her she only had one thing left to do: lock the door.

So naturally, I handed her even more stuff.

Her complete lack of a reaction tells me six weeks together taught her exactly what to expect. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Real estate lessons, marketing, open houses… and apparently learning how to carry everything at once. I’d say we covered a pretty well-rounded curriculum!

Neida is back for round two. 😂

If you missed our first video, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Neida this summer through Portsmouth Public Schools’ Youth Entrepreneurship Program, giving her a behind-the-scenes look at the real estate business.

So at 3624 Linnet Lane, I put her to the test again.

The original hardwood floors might catch your eye first, but some of this home’s best features aren’t necessarily the ones that jump out in the photos.

15 years in real estate has given me a lot to be grateful for — and this month, I want to give some of that back.

15 years.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 15 years since I began this incredible journey in real estate.

When I started, I didn’t have a roadmap. I simply wanted to build a career centered on helping people and making a difference in my community.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of families through some of life’s biggest milestones. I’ve celebrated first homes, growing families, new beginnings, and bittersweet goodbyes. Along the way, many clients became friends, and many friends became like family.

Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful—not just for the homes I’ve helped buy and sell, but for the trust, relationships, and memories we’ve built together.

This month, I’ll be sharing a few of the stories that have shaped my career, the lessons I’ve learned, and the people who have made these 15 years so meaningful.
