Suffolk Parks & Recreation is egg-cited to announce its Annual Eggstravaganza event. This free event will have your kids hopping for joy at Bennett’s Creek Park, 3000 Bennetts Creek Park Rd., on Saturday, March 21, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Enjoy a petting zoo, crafts, music & more. Peter Cottontail will arrive to this eggs-trordinary event at 11:15 a.m.! Egg Hunts will be held at 11:45 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 12:45 p.m., and 1:15 p.m. Each time slot will host hunts for children 0 and up.
Participants are welcome to bring their own baskets, but we’ll also have backup bags available if needed. Children can collect as many eggs as they’d like during the hunt. The eggs will be empty and can be redeemed afterward for a treat bag, specially tailored to accommodate specific ages and allergies. This ensures that every child receives an equal amount of candy and age-appropriate treats. Food and vendor items will be available for purchase.
