Animal Control said 🚫. They dont remove animals from private property.

Game Warden said 🚫. They only help with living animals not dead ones.

I was literally flabbergasted at the advice I got. The game warden said to ask a neighbor to assist with cutting the deer off the fence and bury it in my back yard. 😮🙄

Homeownership really said: “Let's see how prepared you REALLY are.” 😩🦌🏡

Y'all…there was a DEAD DEER stuck on my fence.

Not near the fence.

Not laying beside the fence.

ON. MY. FENCE. 😳

And suddenly I had a question I've never had to ask before:
WHO EXACTLY ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO CALL FOR THIS?! 😂

I made phone call after phone call trying to figure out which department or agency could actually help—and the whole experience made me think about my clients.

We spend so much time talking about buying the house, getting inspections, closing and getting the keys…but nobody gives you a handbook for all the RANDOM things that can happen once you're actually a homeowner. 😂

And that's another reason I believe your relationship with your Realtor shouldn't necessarily end at closing.

Sometimes your call might be:
“Who do you recommend for a plumber?”
“Do you know a good contractor?”
And apparently…
“WHO REMOVES A DEER FROM MY FENCE?!” 😭😂🦌

POV: TikTok turned into a REAL buyer appointment. 👀🏡

Sometimes real estate doesn't come with a 48-hour notice.

This client found me through one of my TikTok videos, reached out wanting to see properties, and needed to move QUICKLY. They are cash buyers, ready to make a decision—and today was our very first time meeting.

Was the showing request last minute? Absolutely. 😂

But sometimes being a great Realtor means recognizing when you need to pivot, adjust the schedule and SHOW UP.

And today reminded me why that matters.
Touring homes together gave me something a phone conversation couldn't: the opportunity to watch their reactions, ask better questions and really understand their must-haves, preferences and deal breakers.

By the end of our appointment, I wasn't just showing a new client houses…
I understood what HOME looks like for them. ❤️🔑

That's the difference between simply opening doors and actually representing a buyer.
