Owning your home outright or owing less on your mortgage than your homes market value is your ideal scenario. This is also one of the motives for being sure to purchase in an area of proven property value increases.
Overtime property values increase and as a result you as the owner will gain more equity. In exchange you will notice your property taxes increase, and this is a good sign!

As of yesterday the new FHA loan limits have changed, how does this benefit you?

Buyer benefits: This change allows you to be approved for more purchasing power in different areas. I’m the past the loan maximums were lower, and limited the amount of home you could purchase.
In order to qualify for this loan you will need a 580 credit score.
Seller benefits: Property values are still on the rise. The previous loan limits may have disqualified some buyers due to pricing points. As a seller the loan limit increases will open up a wider buyer pool for you!
