From Turnover to Turnaround

I had to remove a long-term tenant out of my fully furnished efficiency they trashed.
So I pivoted.
Instead of refilling it as a long-term rental, I repositioned it as a mid-term rental and placed a traveling nurse which has become one of my go-to strategies throughout the DMV.
Mid-term rentals can be the sweet spot:
- 30+ day stays
- Strong demand near hospitals
- Often better cash flow than long-term
- Less churn than short-term
And Iβm going to be real being currently furloughed has been challenge however itβs been such a blessing in this dry season. It forced me to depend solely on God and for me to take some actions to tighten my systems, strategies, & build even more income streams that donβt depend on one job or one tenant type.
Thereβs a bible verse thatβs my go-to during these types of seasons:
Give a portion to seven, and also to eight, for you do not know what disaster may happen on earth. (Ecclesiastes 11:2)
I'm so thankful God told me to build my boat before life storms came! ππ½
