BIG changes could be coming to the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8).

HUD is proposing several major changes, including:

• A 2-year time limit for some voucher recipients
• A 40-hour-per-week work requirement

These are still proposed changes, but I’ve been following these discussions closely over the past year while working with Section 8 landlords and tenants.
