At Firefly Lodge, we believe some of the best investments we can make are in the next generation.

We were honored to serve as a raffle sponsor for the Fox Valley Park Foundation's Golf for Kids outing, an event dedicated to supporting youth programs and opportunities throughout the Fox Valley community.
As part of the event, we donated a two-night stay at Firefly Lodge on Lake Shelbyville, and it was great to see so many people come together for such a meaningful cause.

A big thank you to the Fox Valley Park Foundation, the sponsors, volunteers, golfers, and supporters who help make events like this possible. We are grateful to play a small role in helping local kids thrive.

If you're looking for your next family getaway, fishing trip, hunting weekend, or lake retreat, we'd love to welcome you to Firefly Lodge.

We're honored to be featured on the cover of Lake Shelbyville Living magazine this month!

When we purchased Firefly Lodge, we saw more than a lake house; we saw the opportunity to create a place where families and friends could gather, unplug, and make lasting memories together. Over the past year, we've poured our hearts into transforming the property, and it's been incredible to watch that vision come to life.

From the renovations and updates to the countless weekends spent working alongside family and friends, Firefly Lodge has truly become a labor of love.

Whether you're planning a family vacation, fishing trip, boating weekend, reunion, or just need a peaceful getaway, Firefly Lodge is ready to welcome you.

There’s just something about slow mornings at the lake ☕✨

Whether it’s your first cup before the kids wake up or a quiet moment before a full day on the water, this is what Firefly Lodge mornings are all about. Cozy, simple, and exactly what you didn’t know you needed.

If you could wake up anywhere tomorrow… would it be here? 🌅

We wanted to take a moment to say hello!

Firefly Lodge has been under new ownership since August 2025, and we’re excited to welcome both familiar faces and new guests. Over the past few months, we’ve been making updates we think really matter, like a third bathroom, new furnishings, and a remodeled basement bar-lounge where everyone can hang out.

Sitting right on Lake Shelbyville, the lodge has always been a great place for fishing, hunting, and family getaways, and our goal is simply to keep it comfortable, welcoming, and easy to enjoy together.

If you’ve stayed at the Firefly before, we’d love to hear what you remember most about the Lodge. And if you haven’t yet, we hope you’ll come see it for yourself. We’re now taking 2026 bookings.

Wishing everyone a happy holiday season, and we hope to host you soon.
