New Listings were up 37.7% to 2,495units in the tri-county area compared to 2020. Despite this, inventory continued to shrink almost 80% to 1,490 units. We are moving into what would normally be busy season for real estate and we are hoping to see an increase in listings!

With so few homes on the market, if you have been thinking about selling, now is the time to do it!! Stats are pointing to a very BUSY and COMPETITIVE market in the coming months 🎉

The median sales price jumped ➕18.6% to $343,796, while average days on the market dropped ⬇️ 47.2% to 28 days (in 2020, this was 53 days!) 🏡

After the past year, a lot of people are weighing their options after spending so much time at home! 🏡 You may see the home prices and think you could never afford to buy, but the experts say it’s still more affordable to buy a home than to rent!

How is this possible? Interest rates! Over the past year, mortgage rates have been VERY LOW and they continue to trend around the same %.

Some things to consider when thinking about buying or renting…
