Mark your calendars for Impalas Car Club Car Show on Saturday, September 26th, from 9am-2pm at the Sun Valley Community Park. This event is free to car lovers and the general public. There will be great raffle prizes along with 50/50 raffle, food trucks and music. All makes and model of cars are welcome with a $25 registration fee. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Forever 14 for Teen Su***de.

Notice of Water Meter Replacement Program

The Sun Valley General Improvement District (District) has begun a comprehensive infrastructure project to replace approximately 6,000 aging water meters that have reached the end of their service life. This initiative, which commenced on April 1, 2026, aims to improve billing accuracy, reduce system-wide water loss, and encourage conservation.

What to Expect During Replacement:
• On-Site Notification: A District Service Technician in District uniform and driving a District service truck will attempt to notify you before temporarily shutting off your water.

• Brief Interruption: The standard replacement process takes up to 30 minutes to complete with service interruptions typically lasting only 10 minutes.

• Post-Installation Flushing: Replacing a meter can introduce temporary air bubbles and loose sediment. Once service is restored, please run your cold water taps for 1 to 5 minutes, or until the water flows completely clear.
