🌴 BRUNSWICK COUNTY COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: CAROLINA SHORES 🌴
There’s something special about finding a community that gives you that “I could really see myself living here” feeling—and Carolina Shores is one of those places. Tucked alongside Calabash and just minutes from the beach, Carolina Shores offers a laid-back coastal lifestyle with the convenience of an established neighborhood, plenty to do, and a location that puts so much of coastal North Carolina and South Carolina right at your fingertips.
One of the things I find especially interesting about Carolina Shores is that, although it’s an established community with more than 1,100 homes, it’s still growing! The POA reports 1,246 homesites, with several homes currently under construction and additional individual lots available for those who want to build. I love that combination—you can enjoy the mature feel and established amenities of an existing neighborhood while still having opportunities for something new. 🏡
And if you like a community where there’s actually something going on, Carolina Shores has plenty to offer. Residents have access to a clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, bocce ball, picnic areas and an outdoor pavilion. There are also more than 20 resident clubs and activities, ranging from exercise and golf to tennis and pickleball. Whether you're looking to stay active, pick up a new hobby, or simply make a few friends and enjoy your neighbors, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.
Then, of course, there’s the location. 🌊 Carolina Shores sits right next to Calabash, giving residents easy access to its famous seafood restaurants and waterfront charm. Sunset Beach is only about 3 miles away, while Ocean Isle Beach is roughly 8 miles down the road. And for those who enjoy venturing across the state line, Cherry Grove and the attractions of North Myrtle Beach are also within easy reach. It’s a pretty great spot for enjoying the slower pace of coastal living without feeling far away from everything.
I also love that Carolina Shores has an established identity and a real sense of community. The neighborhood has architectural guidelines designed to help maintain its character and tree-covered setting, while its clubs, activities and shared amenities give residents plenty of ways to make the most of where they live.
Every neighborhood has its own personality, and sometimes finding the right home starts with finding the right community. ❤️
