My baby girl is 18 today.
I’m sitting here at a loss with how quickly these years have passed us by. I can’t possibly express the depth of my love for you. All I can say is I look at you and I am in Awe. I see this beautiful woman who is smart, bubbly, funny and looks a lot like me and yet you have surpassed me in every way. You are courageous and bold. You fight fiercely for the people you love. You love the Lord and seek to do good. You are wise beyond your years and you have an inexplicable charm that pulls people in. To say I’m proud would be an understatement. It’s an absolute honor being your mom. I have had the pleasure of being mom and teacher and now as our relationship transitions towards a deeper friendship my heart is so incredibly full. I love just being around you, listening to you, and talking with you. Thank you for being you. You make my world better. You fill my heart with so much happiness and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life watching you conquer yours.
