🏡 REAL ESTATE MYTH vs. REALITY

❌ MYTH:
“The Fed raised interest rates, so mortgage rates just went up too.”

✅ REALITY:
The Federal Reserve does not directly set mortgage rates.

Mortgage rates are influenced by several factors—including inflation, the bond market, the economy and what investors believe will happen next.

In fact, sometimes mortgage rates move before a Fed announcement because the market was already expecting the change.

So what should you do if you're thinking about buying?

Don't make a decision based on a headline.

Talk to a trusted mortgage lender who can look at your individual situation, explain what's happening with rates right now, and show you what different rates actually mean for your monthly payment.

🏡 **CLOSED! Another West Valley home has a new owner!** 🔑

This listing came to me through one of my trusted Realtor® referral partners who lives and works in another part of the Valley. She knew her clients would be better served by someone closer to their West Valley home—and especially someone familiar with our active adult communities and the little extra attention to detail that can sometimes be needed during a big transition.

These sellers had recently moved into an independent living community and were ready to leave the responsibilities of homeownership behind. My job was to help make that next step as easy and stress-free as possible.

🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Our home may be dogless right now, but our hearts are still filled with memories of our former fur babies. We miss them like crazy—the unconditional love, the happy greetings, the funny personalities and even the dog hair that somehow found its way everywhere. ❤️

We know we’ll add a couple of new babies to our family when the timing is right. Until then, we’ll happily enjoy seeing all of yours!
