🏡 What Happens at Closing? Let’s Break It Down! ✍️🔑

So you’ve found the house, your offer was accepted, and now you’re headed toward closing — but what does that actually mean?

Here’s a quick look at what the closing process looks like, and what happens at your closing meeting:

🔹 1. Final Paperwork Review
Before closing day, the lender and title company work together to finalize documents. You’ll receive a Closing Disclosure with all the financial details — be sure to review it closely!

🔹 2. Final Walkthrough
Usually 24 hours before closing, you’ll walk through the home one last time to make sure everything is in the condition agreed upon.

🔹 3. Closing Day Meeting
Here’s where the magic happens:
✅ Sign all legal documents (loan paperwork, deed transfer, etc.)
✅ Pay closing costs & down payment (often via wire transfer or cashier’s check)
✅ Hand over keys (🎉 your favorite part!)
✅ Title officially transfers from seller to buyer

🔹 4. You’re Officially a Homeowner! 🏠
Once everything’s signed and funds are distributed, the property is yours. Time to celebrate!
