HLC is currently seeking qualified candidates for a temporary (with the possibility for permanent employment) AA position in Syracuse, NY. This individual would report directly to me, although the hiring decision will be made by a committee that will consider my recommendation. I’ve provided the key qualifications below. Wants to work in Digital Media/
Website Maintenance
Proven Communications skills
Very strong organizational skills
Self-starter (takes initiative)
Learns things (especially tools and processes) quickly
Willing to run errands
At least some (1-2 years) experience working in a corporate/multi-department environment (so they have experience managing across teams and working with external dependencies , etc.)
Experience juggling varied responsibilities and a demanding workload (a plus if experienced supporting multiple execs too)
Experience working with systems (e.g. Travel, expense, budget) - preferably not just MS Office suite
Available after normal business hours
Is eager to travel domestically and internationally for sometimes extended periods, up to 1-2 weeks, with typical travel 1-4 days
Wants to grow personally including managing projects like large internal/external meetings, team surveys, department wide communication tasks
Some college or college degree preferred, but subjective exceptions will be considered
Pay Rate: $16-20 per hr.
Start Date: Within 1-2 weeks
