Existing-home sales perked up last month, with sales rising to the highest level in five months.

The "season" has started.. Not as fast as previous years

Pending home sales rose 1.4% month over month and 3.2% year over year in April, according to the National Association of Realtors, as buyers cautiously returned to the spring market.

For-sale inventory improved 4.6% from a year ago, and new listings climbed 1.1% annually while asking prices fell year over year for the sixth consecutive month. Mortgage rates ended April around 6.3%, roughly half a percentage point below a year ago, preserving some buying power.

Work with someone you can actually work with. Buying or selling is a partnership between the Broker and the client.... If you don't connect on a personal level, it will be a frustrating process. Both the client and the Broker bring value to the process. A Broker who wants to control the process is not working for you
