One of the most exciting milestones in your new-home journey is New Home Orientation!

This is your opportunity to walk through your nearly completed home with the builder’s team, learn how your home’s features and systems work, and understand what to expect as you prepare for move-in.

Here are a few things you’ll typically cover:

🔑 **Learn Your Home** From appliances and fixtures to your heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, you’ll learn how to operate and care for your home.

📝 **Review the Details** Walk through the home together, identify any items that need attention, and document them according to the builder’s process.

🛠️ **Understand Home Maintenance** Learn about the routine care that helps protect your investment and keep your home performing as it should.

📖 **Know Your Warranty** — Review your warranty information, understand how to submit service requests, and learn what is and isn’t covered.

💡 **Come Prepared** Bring your questions! This is the time to ask about anything you want to better understand before moving in.

**A little advice for future homeowners:** Don’t feel like you need to remember everything in one day. Take notes, ask questions, and keep your homeowner documents somewhere accessible.

Your home is more than a purchase. It’s a place you’ll live, grow, and make memories. Understanding how to care for it is part of protecting that investment. ❤️

🚧 FROM DIRT → DREAM HOME 🏡

Our clients have officially broken ground on their Shasta XXL Multi-Gen! The foundation cut is complete, and next week we’ll be installing the foundation forms.

This is one of those milestones in new construction that makes it all feel REAL. From here, the home starts progressing through the major construction phases, foundation, framing, roofing, interior systems, finishes … until the plans you’ve been staring at finally become a home you can walk through.

And if you’ve never built before, this is exactly why having a good builder and a sales consultant who keeps you informed matters. There are A LOT of moving pieces between choosing your homesite and getting your keys. 😉

We’re so excited to watch this one come to life. The Shasta XXL MG is going to be GORGEOUS. 🤍

I’m not sure I can fully articulate how meaningful it is to be part of a company that not only supports an organization like The Coffee Oasis, but has a team that actually shows up all the way up to our Division President.
The Coffee Oasis does so much more than serve coffee. They provide a safe place, support, mentorship, housing, job training, and practical resources for youth and young adults in our community, including those experiencing homelessness. What they’re doing is helping young people move from surviving to building a future.
I’m especially proud to be part of a company that doesn’t just write a check, but actually shows up and gives its time, energy, and presence to organizations doing meaningful work in our community.
Very grateful to be part of a team that puts action behind its values. ❤️

Another exciting milestone! 🏡✨

Today we wrapped up the preconstruction meeting, where we confirmed every detail to make sure everything being built is exactly what was selected. They even added a few custom electrical upgrades to make their forever home fit their lifestyle even better.

Now it’s official… we’re off to the races! 🚧

It takes intention to create community—and I’m happy to do it.

There is something incredibly rewarding about seeing people I’ve connected with personally, who trusted me and my team enough to invest in not only a home, but a 12-month journey together, come back together to create something even greater.

These relationships don’t end at closing. Watching neighbors become friends and seeing a community come to life is one of the best parts of what I get to do.
