From a kid's big idea to a GRAND OPENING! 💡🎉

Back in 2024, FWP hosted a Bring Your Kid to Work Day, where our kids got a firsthand look at commercial real estate. One of their stops? A vacant former Bartell Drugs space in University Place.

FWP broker Andy Jessberger challenged the group to imagine what the space could become. Among the creative suggestions? A daycare!

That one idea sparked a conversation with fellow FWP broker Jeremiah Durr, who represents Kiddie Academy. With Andy representing the landlord, a little creativity turned into a whole lot of collaboration!

Fast forward two years, and Kiddie Academy of University Place is officially OPEN! 🎉

What was once a vacant retail space has been transformed into a beautiful childcare facility, ready to welcome local families and create new memories.

We love this story because it represents so much of what FWP is about: relationships, teamwork, community, and recognizing opportunity where others might not see it.

Congratulations to Andy, Jeremiah, and the entire Kiddie Academy team on this exciting opening!

And to our future generation of brokers... we're keeping an eye on you! 😉👏

Cheers to 5 years! 🎉Celebrating an exciting milestone for two members of our First Western Properties team; Justice Knox and Michael Olson are celebrating five years with FWP!

Over the past five years, both Justice and Michael have continued to build strong relationships, advocate for their clients, and bring the market knowledge, hustle, and collaborative spirit that make our team stronger.

We’re grateful for the energy and expertise they each bring to the Tacoma office and proud to have them representing First Western Properties in our community and throughout the Puget Sound.

Another great ICSC@WESTERN in the books! ☀️

Our First Western Properties team had an incredible week in San Diego connecting with clients, partners, and industry peers - strengthening longtime relationships, creating new ones, and having plenty of great conversations about the opportunities ahead.

Between productive meetings, meaningful time with our clients, and even a visit to the San Diego Naval Base, the week was a perfect mix of business, relationships, and memorable experiences.

We’re especially proud of our team for continuing to show up - for our clients, for one another, and for the relationships that make this industry what it is. The conversations may start at , but it’s what we do with them when we get home that matters most.

Thank you to everyone who made time to connect with FWP this week. We’ve returned home energized, grateful, and ready to keep the momentum going.
