So excited for my seller on her next journey in life! This one got so heated that we ended up negotiating until midnight. Congrats to the buyer, the other agent that worked so hard for their clients, and my seller. On to closing!

I had to get a picture of my fit today because I complimented an agent on their suit and in return he said “this is what an agent looks like”.

I dress like this because I choose to devote my time and effort into my clients and their experience in how I treat them as a person. I celebrate my attire as I will never be that stuffy agent that makes you feel that I am somehow better than you because of my experience or that I’ve done however many deals. I like to bring the tension down at a time when stress is at an all time high and I feel that I can’t do that as well unless I’m in my jeans, Redfin polo, and my running shoes!

While his comment didn’t upset me or ruin my day, I thought it is a good discussion on what today’s agent is and how we serve our people. I take great pride in this uniform I put on every day and the job I do for my clients. I love that I can take down the veil of business and connect with people on a human level! This is me!!!
