Our scenic trip and picnic were an absolute hit! We enjoyed a beautiful drive along the waterfront on Ruston Way before finding the perfect spot at Ruston Park, right by the pier and picnic tables. With the beautiful water, fresh air, a family of geese nearby, and lots of smiles, it was the perfect setting for a wonderful afternoon together.
A very special shout-out to Holly for the extra love and thought she put into preparing our lunches. When we opened our lunch containers, we were greeted by the sweetest little smiley faces she had drawn inside! 😊 It was such a simple gesture, but it brought extra smiles to our residents and our Life Enrichment Team. Thank you, Holly, for reminding us that sometimes the smallest details can make the biggest difference!
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing caregivers for making sure our residents were ready, comfortable, and safely assisted onto the bus. Your support makes these outings possible and means more than you know. ❤️
And a huge thank you to Kelly and Alexis for helping make the day so much fun while making everything look effortless! What our residents may not always see is the communication, planning, teamwork, and countless little details that happen behind the scenes to make a trip like this possible. It truly takes a Village!
