A small church congregation in the heart of Tacoma is deciding the fate of its one hundred year old sanctuary. The church may soon be demolished, the members say they can't afford to keep it up.

First Congregational Church, one of Tacomas oldest and most historic houses of worship, has stood as a spiritual fixture near Wright Park for 104 years. That legacy could end soon. The church will be put up for sale in the next two weeks and could be demolished.
