I have to laugh that I totally don’t care if he does this, and that it wouldn’t pass my mother’s manners test. I want to give a shout-out 📣to my friend Galadriel💗. This woman was there for me in one of the most challenging circumstances of my life. She helped me sort through my mother’s belongings⏰👗🤱for weeks at a time. The estate sale company we hired said that we needed to sort and make donations 🚚 as part of the preparation. I felt paralyzed. My mother had an estate sale business for years and also “collected”. Some beautiful things and some ordinary things, and she never threw out anything. It was like finding my entire childhood again - ballet costumes, toys, boxes like time capsules. Where to start? I found myself grieving my mother, father, and brother all at the same time.

This friend was there, through the tears😭, frustration, and overwhelm😔. What a gift to have someone show up day after day and say We got this, one room at a time🎁. Her help and presence got me through it, and that process was healing, cathartic, and brought me peace🕊️. I know you aren't on the socials, but I had to tell the world about the beautiful thing you did for me.🤍 I love you, Galadriel Iversen, and I'll never forget it!💖💝💖

My son, , has been home in Tacoma working like mad on his own album(s) and and also working in our studio on other projects for the past 6+ weeks. It's been so lovely to have his sweet presence and music fill the house. Hearing the songwriting process happen is one of my favorite things in the whole world. Time with adult children is not guaranteed. and I are enjoying every minute we have of his precious time and presence.

Early this November, .mcneely and I went to Seabrook, WA 🌲, along with , for some business planning and time together as an office. We worked some and played, too! Where is Seabrook, you may ask? It is a lovely beach town 🏘️along the Washington Coast’s Olympic Peninsula. 🌊

I have not been with my family yet, but I can’t wait to take them. I remember going to Seabrook 18 years ago when I was pregnant 🤰with Juliet, and there were maybe 15-20 houses.
