PSA: Saving on commission isn’t saving if it costs you tens of thousands. We were called in to save this listing after the seller tried a discount broker. It was an uphill climb with all the marketing damage - and we had to list substantially lower than we would have if we were the initial agent - but with a few weeks of prep, fresh ideas and a can do attitude, we were able to put at least an extra $30k+ in their pocket. Ironically, they are now super glad it didn’t sell before!
