Yeah that's right we are celebrating!!! 100 days ago, and I said we weren't going to have ANY ALCOHOL or ANY DESSERTS/SWEETS & my god WE DID IT! What has changed since: Better body composition, less puffiness in general, better sleep, joints don't hurt & the ladies say we have been better husbands! Another huge win is the knowledge that we don't have to have those things to have fun, enjoy a "complete meal" and who knows how much money we saved.....drinks these days are EXPENSIVE! Pumped for the both of us...

PS: best steak in Tacoma is at ...by a long shot.

On this day, 76 years ago, Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in the MLB! I love the game of baseball and have since I was 5. I have spent so much of my life on a baseball diamond. While NO player in the MLB is allowed to wear his number, 42, as their regular number, today and every other April 15th in the future, every single player will wear his number to honor him. Thank you for your courage Jackie, I'm sure it was more difficult than I could ever imagine. FUN FACT: Jackie's wife, Rachel is still alive today. She's 100 years old.

On Sunday I asked my daughter if she wanted to hang out...her reply was, "I don't want to Daddy, sorry". HA! I almost reminded her that she was only 3 months past being fully potty trained. Funny how things can change so fast.

Facts: My mom had me when she was 17 and my Pops was less than stellar. They had 3 kids total and then Pops dropped off the map when we were 12, 7 & 5. Real talk, my mom worked her tail off to make sure we had food + housing, but things were not easy. I fought with her almost 24/7. We are cool now and she visits from Virginia at least once a year. My daughter loves her which is awesome to see. Come back soon Mimi!
