Greg Righellis empowers his clients to make well-informed real estate decisions. While we all know that buying property in Tahoe will create a lifetime of epic memories for generations to come and can appear straightforward, he understands that it is imperative to proactively avoid numerous landmines and to uncover each property's unique intricacies that might justify the listing price. When the t

ime comes to sell the property, he taps into his decade-plus of relationships between Tahoe and the San Francisco Bay Area and maximizes the wildly powerful marketing reach that his team of expert marketers and the partnership with Forbes Global Properties. His passion for Tahoe began as a child when his family purchased a condo in Tahoe City. Those formative memories motivated him to live here full time after college. He loves nothing more than to explore Tahoe’s music venues, unique trails, calm coves, and sweet sunrises with his wife and two young daughters. Few agents know how to balance lifestyle and real estate as well as Greg, and he infuses every relationship with a passion for it. Along the way, he has served as a Recreation Commissioner of North Lake Tahoe, started a music school with his wife, often volunteers to pick up trash, and now passionately serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club with a focus on strategic planning.

One of my favorite Tahoe traditions is being part of this softball team for the past 21 years. The tradition itself started more than 53 years ago, which is pretty incredible.

But the best part has always been the people who show up every week, play hard, have fun, and keep the tradition going.

Here’s to good friends, a little friendly competition, and another season on the field. Thank you TAPCO Construction, Tahoe City Public Utility District and my fellow Dirt Bags.

1623 Deer Path Northstar California.
Here’s a quick walk-through video to give you an idea of how this home flows.

Tucked along a quiet street at Northstar and backing to open space, this well-maintained 4-bedroom, 3-bath home is designed for gathering, hosting, and enjoying Tahoe in every season.

Vaulted ceilings, a spacious kitchen, flexible bonus room, mudroom, oversized two-car garage, and a large back deck give everyone room to spread out. Step off the deck for winter sledding, then finish the day in the new hot tub.

Recent improvements include a new roof, new furnace, radiant heat in most bathrooms, and an EV charger.

Northstar shuttle access connects you to skiing, dining, shopping, pools, fitness, ice skating, cross-country trails, and year-round events.

Last week, we broke ground on something much bigger than two buildings.

This new Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe facilities in Incline Village is a game changer for local kids, working families, and the businesses that make our community thrive. It represents opportunity, stability, and a place where babies and little ones will be cared and for our teen population to have a safe and enriching place to be after school.

Thank you to every donor, volunteer, staff member, board member, partner, and community member who believed in this vision and helped make today possible. This milestone belongs to all of you. HK Design I Hanna Khoury prdesign and most importantly Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation

Two Lake Views. Two Price Points. Too Many Stairs?

Over the past month, two unique homes have come on the market, each with incredible panoramic views of Lake Tahoe.

One overlooks Rubicon and Meeks Bay, listed at $1.15 million. The other looks across the lake toward Tahoe City, listed at $2.4 million.

Both have been thoughtfully renovated. Both offer the kind of sunset views that never get old. And both require a healthy climb from the parking area to the front door.

It made me think that sometimes the best properties come with a tradeoff. In these cases, it’s a few extra flights of stairs in exchange for front-row seats to one of the most beautiful places in the world.

I’d happily make that climb for an evening cocktail. Would you?

The final event for Girls on the Run Sierras wrapped up today with a bang.

At first, I thought it was simply a running club for local girls. What I’ve come to realize is that it’s so much more. Through movement, encouragement, and community, these girls learn to recognize their inner strength, imagine what’s possible, and build confidence that will last a lifetime.

The finish line today wasn’t just about completing a run. It was about celebrating courage, growth, friendship, and believing in themselves.

Thank you to the coaches, volunteers, families, and who make this program so impactful. 💜🏃‍♀️✨

Grateful for a peaceful, healthy, and free way to get outside and enjoy the mountains. Just well-groomed trails, fresh air, and space to move.

And while it’s free, you can always donate to help keep it going;)

Today I had the chance to explore one of the most extraordinary properties I’ve ever seen in Lake Tahoe — 818 feet of pristine lakefront spread across 5 private acres.

It feels like a hidden slice of the West Shore, carved right into the granite boulders that define Tahoe’s North Shore. The kind of place that makes you stop, breathe, and remember why we love this lake so much.
