Prior to reactivating Wiggins & Associates in 1999 and operating as an independent Broker in the Tahoe Truckee market until 2013, Jim spent four years with The Grubb & Ellis Company after they acquired his firm in 1995. From 1985 to 1995 he was President and owner of Wiggins & Associates, Inc., a leading full service commercial real estate firm, serving San Joaquin Valley. From 1982 to 1985, he served as Vice President and partner in the firm of Moss, Craig & Wiggins, a prominent commercial real estate firm in Stockton. Prior to entering the commercial real estate field in 1976 with The Grupe Company in Stockton, he spent 16 years in the hospitality field, developing and managing resorts and hotel facilities in the west with tenure with Yosemite Park & Curry Co, in Yosemite National Park, Vail Associates in Vail, Colorado and was President of Hospitality Enterprises, Inc. in Denver Colorado. Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver, with a major in Hotel and Restaurant Management with a secondary in Marketing. Jim has also completed a wide range of commercial real estate courses and seminars and he holds the CCIM designation that is the highest credential in the analysis and marketing of Investment Real Estate.
