Ok, NTHS Class of ‘84!! 🎓

Here are the details for Reunion Weekend:

Friday, Sept. 6-

6:30pm: All-class get together at Bridgetender

Saturday, Sept. 7-

Noonish: Meet at the beach in Tahoe Vista, across from the Old Range steakhouse (used to be a pizza place, remember)?

5:30pm: Dinner at Moe's BBQ in Tahoe City. About $30 if someone wants to eat the full dinner (details still being worked out). We will also be doing fruit and cheese plates, and dessert which will be free, depending on what Moe's is going to do for us. We may ask for donations to help cover costs. Drinks will be available at the bar next to the room we will be in.

**Pete 'n Peter's afterward for those brave souls that can stay up past 8:30!

Sunday, Sept. 8 –

?? AM (to be determined): Breakfast at OPO for those who are interested.

Late morning or early afternoon:
We are looking into the availability of the Sierra Cloud - a catamaran that sails daily from Garwoods pier. ⛵️ I'm in touch with them regarding departure time, length, and cost. We will not be chartering, just hopping on if they're sailing that day.

Additional important info-

We have been cleared to have a Quarters Table at Moe’s!! Same old game, only difference is old people playing it, with nothing in the cup. BUT, the “losers” will have the option to pour water, vodka, tequila, beer or Pepto Bismol into the cup for their drinking enjoyment!! 🤣🍺

Lodging-

There should be some good availability for rentals. Check in with West Lake Properties and 1984’s own Julie W**d. Be sure and book direct for the best price!

Please say some prayers (or whatever you do) and send good wishes to big Mike Vincent and his family. Mike is going to refrain this year from kicking everyone’s 🫏 in pickle ball, so he can get back to 100%!! Plus, his wife would surely kick his arse, should he even think about it.

I can’t think of a better way to start 2022 than by looking ourselves, our emotions, our scars, our beauty, our mess, our strengths, and our fears in the eye.

Finding our way back to ourselves and each other is not the stuff of resolutions. It’s the raw material of a revolution.

Charles Feltman’s definitions of trust and distrust have been foundational for me—they simply and elegantly capture what we’ve learned from 20+ years of data, and they give us handles for the huge, gauzy construct of trust.
