As colder temperatures are expected across the area, I wanted to share an important reminder as we prepare for the upcoming freeze. With freezing temperatures possible, please make sure you are taking the following precautions to help prevent frozen or burst pipes:

• Allow a steady drip of water from faucets, especially those on exterior walls
• Open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air to circulate
• Cover or insulate exposed outdoor pipes and hose bibs
• Disconnect garden hoses

Most importantly, please bundle up and take care of yourselves as we brace for the cold weather. Staying ahead of these precautions can help avoid unnecessary damage during freezing conditions.
