Similar layout, but better ✨

At our Old FL Ridge project, we opened up the kitchen to the dining room and replaced the island cooktop with a statement range wall - bringing better flow and a beautiful new focal point.

Last year we renovated primary bath due to water damage. What started as a good bathroom became a great one.

Aside from the beautiful design, the most impactful changes are:

- A new header to define the tub area and molding throughout brought the biggest visual change.
- A dropped shower ceiling to create a warmer, less drafty space, and a tilt panel to allow steam to be trapped or released as needed.

So many decisions go into a remodel or new build that it’s easy to get overwhelmed or decision fatigue. It’s not just picking out the pretty finishes like the lighting and mirrors, but it’s deciding the direction to lay the tile, what grout to pair with the tile… the paint finish for the trim vs. the finish for the walls, placement of the plumbing (this one is super important, especially if using a floor mount tub filler), etc.

Having a contractor that will listen to you and implement the design is important, but having a designer that can guide you through the process and know the selections needed to give you your dream space is key.

Utility room, but not just a utility room.

Repurposed cabinets from the old kitchen paired with a new wood top, shelves and boot pegs. Everything in this space was designed and built on site, shaping it around our client’s needs — from making flower arrangements to storing boots and housing the dog crate.
