Today was a day I will never forget. My son closed on his very first home, and I had the honor of being his Realtor. ❤️

It’s amazing how fast time flies. It feels like just yesterday he was a little boy playing with his toy horses and today he’s a young man standing in the doorway of his own home, keys in hand.

Homeownership has long been part of the American Dream. While not everyone gets the opportunity to achieve it, today my son did. Watching him reach this milestone through hard work and determination fills my heart with so much pride.

As our nation prepares to celebrate 250 years of freedom and opportunity, this moment feels especially meaningful. The American Dream is still alive and today I had the privilege of watching my son live it.

This Fourth of July is especially meaningful as we celebrate 250 years of American independence, a reminder of the courage, sacrifice and unwavering spirit that built the greatest nation in the world.

According to PetAmberAlert.com, 30% more pets go missing between July 4th and 6th each year than any other time period. And with dogs being more afraid of the sound of fireworks* than thunder or gunfire, it is no wonder. They hear the scary sounds and flashing lights and head for safe ground… wherever that might be. Sadly, only 14% of these pets are reunited with their families and for those that are left behind somewhere between 30-60% are euthanized because they were not claimed or adopted.

Please keep your pets secured inside anytime fireworks are being used. If you know your pet is especially distressed at such times consider talking with your vet about treatment options to keep your pet safe and calm.
