As summer starts to wind down, I wanted to share a few highlights from our week-long adventure through three states!
We kicked things off in Pigeon Forge, where we packed our days with new adventures. We tried indoor snow tubing (which quickly became a favorite), visited WonderWorks, and enjoyed the Pirates Voyage Dinner Show. Lexi made it her personal goal to conquer a few fears on this trip, and she absolutely crushed it. We flew down the snow tubing hill more than 15 times in an hour, rode the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, and even experienced the 4D XD Motion Theater at WonderWorks. It was such a fun way to start the week. 😄
After a couple of action-packed days, we headed to Maggie Valley, where life slowed down a bit. We kept up one of our favorite family traditions by going gem mining in Cherokee, hiked to the beautiful SoCo Falls, and spent plenty of time relaxing on the porch overlooking the Maggie Valley Golf Course. The peaceful mountain views were exactly the reset we needed.
Our final stop was Great Wolf Lodge, where "relaxing" definitely wasn't part of the itinerary. We raced down the family tube slides, played mini golf and bowling, and Taylor and I made our way through the Adventure Course. The girls conquered the rock wall, and we squeezed every bit of fun out of our last few days together.
Looking back, I'm so thankful for this time with my family. These trips aren't about checking destinations off a list. They're about making memories, trying new things, cheering each other on, and enjoying every moment together.
Grateful for a week full of laughter, new experiences, and memories we'll never forget!
