What an outstanding weekend at the talchamber Annual Community Conference.

Congratulations to Michael Dalby, Eddie Gonzalez Loumiet Gonzalez Loumiet, Pubke, and the entire Chamber team for bringing our business community together for meaningful conversations about Tallahassee’s future.

There is so much positive momentum happening in our community — from the transformational FSU Health/TMH partnership and advances in healthcare and research to entrepreneurship, economic development, education and new opportunities for growth.

But perhaps what I enjoyed most was reconnecting with longtime friends, meeting new people, and having thoughtful conversations about an important question: How do we position Tallahassee for the future in a way that allows all of our residents to benefit from our progress?

Our business community is strong. We are employers, investors, sponsors, volunteers and community partners — and we have an important role to play in building a healthy, vibrant and prosperous Tallahassee.

I left Amelia Island encouraged, energized and even more committed to what comes next.
