We wrapped up International Housekeepers Week with plenty of well-deserved celebration across Gambit Hospitality Group!

Our locations found all kinds of ways to recognize their housekeeping teams, from appreciation breakfasts and special treats to Housekeeping Olympics, team-building activities, games, and a lot of laughs.

Housekeeping plays such an important role in creating the clean, comfortable, welcoming experience our guests count on every day. We loved seeing our teams take time to celebrate the people behind that experience and have a little fun along the way.

That’s a wrap on the Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism, hosted by VISIT FLORIDA!

Nearly 1,000 tourism leaders and industry professionals came together to talk about Florida, where the industry is headed, and the opportunities ahead.

For us, the best part was the people. New connections, great conversations, potential partnerships, and plenty of ideas to take home and put into action!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, spent some time with us, shared an idea, or simply said hello. It was great meeting so many people who are passionate about Florida tourism and the communities we serve.

Our Gambit Hospitality leaders recently gathered for hurricane preparedness training with Signal Restoration, helping our General Managers and Assistant General Managers prepare as we move through hurricane season.

From reviewing response plans to strengthening communication and coordination, training like this helps our teams stay informed, aligned, and ready to respond when weather impacts hotel operations.

Making the right moves starts with staying connected to the resources, tools, and partnerships that help hotels perform.

Gambit Hospitality Group President Matt McCauley and Corporate Hospitality Associate Dawson Bishop recently spent two days at Hilton’s Corporate Office in Memphis participating in the pilot of the newly reimagined APTitude — Above-Property Leader Training program.

The sessions provided valuable insight into Hilton’s above-property resources, including Owners Portal, BOSS, GRO, Reporting Hub, Stay Experience Platform, BOOST, and coaching tools designed to help portfolio leaders support stronger property performance.

As pilot participants, Matt and Dawson also had the opportunity to provide direct feedback that will help shape future training for Hilton owners and above-property leaders.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this collaborative experience and to continue strengthening the tools, knowledge, and partnerships that support the properties entrusted to our care.
