One year ago today, April 17, 2024, I listed my first property as a Realtor, in Lakeshore Estates, Tallahassee. I’ll never forget the honor I felt just putting the “For Sale” sign in the yard—being trusted by family friends to guide them into a new chapter of life.

I entered the listing into the MLS while sitting at a table in Strozier Library, in between class and my serving job at the time, still a student at Florida State. Getting licensed before my final year of college was something I had never been so determined to do—but I had no idea what was coming. I planned to quietly hold my license until graduation, but the next few weeks completely shifted the path I was on.

Sturgeon Drive went under contract in 16 days—right in the middle of finals. Around then, I met with my now mentor, the phenomenal Bruce Foster and in May, I officially joined The Big Bend Group

With lifelong exposure to the industry, I knew by 14 that I wanted to serve and guide people through some of the biggest transactions of their lives. This first year was more than I could have imagined—and just the beginning.
