Our latest client donated $850 of our commission to Second Harvest of the Big Bend, whose mission is to feed hungry, food insecure people in North Florida’s Big Bend region, and to educate and engage the community in the fight to end hunger. The food bank provides healthy food and other needed items for low-income and unemployed people to relieve situations of emergency and distress.

It was a pleasure meeting Monique Ellsworth, the Chief Executive Officer of Second Harvest.

We’re happy to announce that our latest client chose for 850 Realty to donate $850 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tallahassee, Inc.

RMHC’s goal is to provide a safe and healthy living environment for families who are far away from home and caring for a child with a severe illness. Since many of these hospitalized children already have compromised immune systems, we want to minimize the chance of infection while also supporting our healthcare professionals.

Our latest client decided to donate $850 of our commission to the Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School Of The Arts!

Pictured with me is the wonderful Dr. Hightower, principal of ATMSA. Her passion for her students beams through her radiant admiration and determination to educate all kids from all walks of life with an emphasis on nurturing their creativity.

The Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School of the Arts (ATMSA) was established in 1999 as Leon County’s first elementary magnet school. Since then, ATMSA has excelled in enhancing student education through artistic emphasis. Their program incorporates the arts into standardized state-approved core curricula. The goal of the educators and the staff at ATMSA is to help students develop a passion for learning while nurturing their existing creativity.

The mission of Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School of the Arts is to empower the students to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens by enabling them to be self-directed and self-sufficient individuals in a constantly changing world. Students are enthusiastic and engaged in a dynamic, creative program. They develop through the study of core curriculum and dance, drama, visual art and music.
