In addition to the Disaster Recovery Center at the Leon County Main Library, a Mobile Disaster Recovery Center is also available to help those affected by May severe storms and tornadoes on a rotational schedule at three locations. Each location will operate daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The schedule is as follows:

📍 Woodville Community Center, 8000 Old Woodville Road: Open from Monday, July 1 through Friday, July 5 (closed on July 4 in observance of the holiday)

📍 Apalachee Regional Park Operations Building, 7550 Apalachee Parkway: Open from Sunday, July 7 through Sunday, July 14

📍 Fort Braden Community Center, 16387 Blountstown Highway: Open from Tuesday, July 16 through Sunday, July 21

**EDITED regarding bus schedules**

In consultation with the National Weather Service and Leon County Emergency Management we have made the decision to delay school start times tomorrow (4/11/2024) by 1 hour. The National Weather Service and Leon County Emergency Management are predicting that a strong line of thunderstorms will be passing through Leon County between the hours of 3-7am. Therefore, in the abundance of caution, we have made the decision to delay the start of the school day:

High School will begin at 8:30am
Elementary School will begin at 9:30am
Middle School will begin at 10:30am

**Bus pick-up times will also be delayed one hour. **

Schools will release at the normal times and after-school activities will continue as usual:

High School releases at 1:50pm
Elementary School releases at 2:50pm
Middle School releases at 3:50pm

We apologize for the short notice and for the disruption, however the safety of our students and our employees is always our top priority.
