What “FOR SALE AS IS” actually means-

“AS IS” just means the seller is not willing (or able) to do any repair work. The property is being sold in its current condition.

•You can and should still get a home inspection.
•You can potentially still negotiate the price and credits.

“FOR SALE AS IS” doesn’t automatically make the property a red flag. It just means the seller doesn’t want to or can’t fix things. You should always do due diligence. And remember, pretty much everything in real estate is negotiable…

Keep in mind, properties listed “AS IS” are often foreclosures, estates, quick sales, or the seller lacks the funds for repairs.
