McDonald’s Family Sells Palm Beach Waterfront Estate for $64 Million After Nearly Three Decades of Ownership. The Cohon family, whose name became closely associated with the international growth of McDonald’s during the late twentieth century, has sold a Palm Beach waterfront estate for a combined $64.35 million through two separate transactions. The sale includes a Mediterranean-style mansion on Tarpon Way that changed hands for $37.1 million and a neighboring vacant parcel that previously sold for $27.25 million earlier this year.
