Flexible, open minded. Adaptation is often considered one of humanity’s greatest strengths. This ability to adjust to new circumstances and challenges has allowed humans to thrive in diverse environments and situations. Adaptability means the ability to be flexible and adjust to changing factors, conditions or environments. People who are adaptable are more willing to explore outside their comfort zone, take risks and embrace uncertainty. Adaptability helps you be strong in a difficult situation.

An adaptable person must think flexibly, cope with change easily, and always maintain a good attitude. One of the key components of being adaptable includes being open to learning new things; being able to constantly update knowledge and skill sets, as well as challenge oneself to attain new goals.

Thank you SIOR Global for the recognition! It’s awesome to see this list grow each year with more and more SIOR’s leveraging social media for their commercial real estate business. Using all platforms of social media LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter has helped me stay connected with so many people and business develop through the years. CRE is a relationship business after all. Costar and Crexi Platinum Broker Awards are award programs recognizing the highest performing brokers on these highly recognized and utilized SEO platforms by Tenants searching for commercial space.

The Platinum Broker Awards recognize individuals beyond properties and total value sold and leased taking into consideration marketplace activity and more. Brokers are recognized based on three focuses – sale, lease and auction. Winners from the sale and lease categories span hospitality, industrial, land, multifamily, office, retail, restaurant, and special purpose sectors. This is mostly attributed to migration and strong population growth to both states.
As of April 2024, even with demand down sharply in Tampa in the last year by more than 70%, it still ranked as the second leading market in the U.S. for the pace of annual rent growth.
That’s not surprising, however, considering that vacancy remains under 5%, nearly half of the vacancy rate in Phoenix, which is ranked third.

- Overall asking rents exceeded the $10 mark for the first time, ending 1Q24 at $10.13 psf NNN. This was a 17.4% YOY increase.

- Vacancy was up slightly QOQ to 4.6%, but still well below the 5-year average of 5.3%.

- Leasing activity totaled nearly 1.3 MSF, up 33.5% from 4Q23.

- Net absorption was 566,000 sf, driven by Hillsborough move-ins (639,559 sf) as Pinellas recorded negative absorption (-73,733 sf).

- There was 844,000 sf of new product that delivered, of which 57.3% was preleased. An additional 3.5 MSF was under construction.
