Edamame dumplings and creative mocktails in midtown at the food kitchen was creative and impressive. If you haven't been to off of Dale Mabry in Tampa it's definitely worth the trip. This mixed used space includes a hotel, apartments, grocery, and restaurants.

Wow! was an instant hit for me. I walked in and just felt automatically happy. Between all the beautiful plants, totally unique flower bar/wall and amazing decor including a mural, I felt happy and excited to be there right away.
I even got to talk briefly about the store and concept with Matt who owns the shop with his wife Whitney.
If you haven't gone here yet, it's worth it and hands down you should. The plants are amazing. The flower bar is so pretty and the photo opt opportunities are also amazing. Even I wanted to get a selfie in this place..

I had a very chill time today in north hyde Park today. At first I thought it was a quaint Cafe until I saw the other side of the place and wow it has alot of space. I loved the light airy feeling of Willa's. Their blueberry iced tea with honey was delicious and their Chai tea as well. And there is a parking lot!!!!

was such a fun morningish of trick or treating. This was the first year for my lil guy of trick or treating. Not going to lie it was so fun to watch him go and get it done.
At one point he was trying to dump his candy back into the buckets. He's a giver. ;) lol.
Thank you Davis island businesses for providing candy and fun. ! We had a super good time.

I found the cutest map of tampa at Pickfords today while having a fabulous time with a friend.

This cute as pie coffee/unique gifts, grocery and things is definitely worth a visit. From great teas, coffees, unique breakfasts and the cutest gifts. I'd say two thumbs up and a high five!

Quintessential houses, brick roads, a sense of community and one of my fav restaurants and bakery walking distance away.

This area used to be where my hubby and I lived when we first moved to Tampa.
I personally just love this house. The big hanging planter in the front and the beautiful colors just speak to me. It's not for sale or anything but I can dream!

Pretty interesting clip on rent increases going on in St Petersburg and Tampa Bay. I knew that renting right now was going up at a pretty staggering rate. But around 20% since last year...that's alot! I hope for those who are renting that this doesn't effect them but bottom line it probably does. Especially if the renters are month to month.
Here's my opinion, even though it's not an option for everyone if you can afford to buy in Tampa bay area.. I think now is a good time. The rate of increase in the housing market is about the same at around 20%. Don't get me wrong it is a tough market to buy in right now but that 20% increase after you buy a home becomes equity instead of just lost money. And with interest rates low people can have a lower payment for a higher priced home. Something to ponder for sure.

Finding charm in my very own neighborhood is so much fun! From colored doors, amazing landscaping and old churches; my neighborhood really has it all. And its getting better everyday. What's you fav part of your own neighborhood? What sticks out?
