Goooood morning ☀️ Today is National Pancake Day! Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is my absolute favorite for pancakes 🥞 but I do enjoy making them at home too! Below is a scratch recipe for pumpkin pancakes BUT I have also just added canned pumpkin and cinnamon to a box mix and they were just as good 😋

If you could choose your dream fall home 🏡 what would be your MUST-HAVE?

🎃 A front porch big enough for ALL the pumpkins
🔥 A fireplace you actually get to use more than 3 days a year
🍁 A backyard with beautiful fall trees
☕ A cozy kitchen made for Sunday morning coffee
🏊‍♀️ A pool because… well… Florida
🌴 Or… a house with enough outdoor space for entertaining while everyone complains that it’s “too hot for fall.” 🤣

As a Realtor, I see a LOT of wish lists when people are house hunting.

So I’m curious:

Let me tell you, folks think they have seen all of the Tampa Bay area, and then I start sharing my list of the unexpected spots.

Have you ever driven past the Bowling Ball House in Safety Harbor? It is a real home covered top to bottom in color and folk art, free to stroll by and wonderfully strange in the best Florida way.

If you would rather be on the water, you can paddle a clear kayak out of Tierra Verde toward Shell Key and watch the fish glide right beneath you.

For the thrill seekers, Empower Adventures over in Oldsmar runs ziplines and a treetop course with wide open views of the bay.

Just up the road in Dade City, Giraffe Ranch lets you get nose to nose with giraffes, which surprises just about every newcomer I tell.

And you cannot beat an afternoon wandering the cobblestone streets of Ybor City, ci**rs and famous wild roosters and all.

This is the Tampa Bay I love sharing with people, the everyday adventures that live between the big-name attractions. There is always something new to discover, even after a whole lifetime here.
