Here is a little advice about newer homes with foam insulation:

Newer more energy efficient homes that have a foam insulated attic make those homes very tight. While this helps with energy bills it can make it so there are higher levels of CO2 in the home. This can be especially concerning if you host a party with more people in the home which can lead to dangerous levels of CO2. Adding Monitors are a good idea if you have this as well as adding live plants to help off set the CO2. They will be happier and so will you! As Hurricane Ian is nearing we would like to remind everyone to drain their pools as low as possible to account for the incoming rain to prevent any possible flooding to your home. If you lose power, your pump will not be able to drain your pool. We are also available to answer any phone calls if you need any guidance for hurricane preparedness. Please stay safe everyone!
