Tampa Housing Authority's Crisis Response and Resident Safety

The Tampa Housing Authority is steadfast in ensuring the safety and welfare of our residents and employees as Hurricane Milton approaches. We continue to collaborate with law enforcement and follow all guidance from local and state authorities to maintain the highest safety standards. Our emergency preparedness protocols are currently fully deployed.

Our Emergency Command Center is fully operational, coordinating efforts to monitor our properties, deploy essential supplies, and offer critical support to those affected. Residents are receiving timely information on evacuation needs and access to vital resources.

In the aftermath of the storm, we are executing our disaster recovery protocols, which include:

- Conducting thorough property assessments to identify and address damage

- Distributing essential supplies such as food, water, and power-charging stations to affected families

- Securing all facilities to prevent further risks

- Maintaining proactive communication with all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and support throughout this crisis

Our team is committed to continuously evaluating and refining our response efforts to best serve our community. As we manage this ongoing challenge, we remain focused on the well-being of our residents and the support of our dedicated employees.
