Help me welcome Denise and her family to Berry Bay! 🎉

I love a good first-time homebuyer story, and hers is definitely one worth sharing!

Denise came to Ashton Woods after touring another builder and not having the best experience. Something told her to stop by and check us out…and I’m so glad she did!

She came in thinking she probably wouldn’t qualify. We sat down, talked about what Ashton Woods had to offer, went over her numbers and guess what? She didn’t just qualify…she MORE than qualified! 🙌🏾

We toured the Duval, our largest floor plan at Berry Bay, and she loved it. 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and over 3,500 sq. ft. of space for her family.

We went under contract THAT DAY, and she got an amazing deal on her very first home! 🥹🏡

Of course, we still keep in touch, so she’s officially family now. ❤️ And apparently she already knows the way to my heart because she made me Jamaican banana fritters (I hope I’m saying that right 😂), and y’all…they were sooooo GOOD!

Most people waiting for home prices to “crash” don’t realize something important…

Historically, home prices have gone up far more often than they’ve gone down. This graph shows the change over 69 years 🤯

Even after the 2008 crash, the market recovered and continued climbing over time. Numbers don't lie 🤷🏾‍♀️

That doesn’t mean you should rush into buying a home you can’t afford.
But it does mean waiting for the “perfect market” can sometimes cost more in the long run through:
• higher prices
• less inventory
• fewer builder incentives
• and more competition

Right now, we’re actually in a buyer’s market in many areas. Buyers have more negotiating power, more options, and stronger incentives than we’ve seen in a while.

And honestly? Ashton Woods has some phenomenal pricing right now compared to what we’ve seen over the last few years. Between pricing, rate incentives, and closing cost assistance, there are opportunities that many buyers may look back on and wish they took advantage of.

The goal isn’t to time the market perfectly.
The goal is to buy when it makes sense for your life, your finances, and your monthly payment.

That’s the part most people overlook.
